Youth Resources

TEENPOWER CAMPS are the only youth substance abuse prevention conferences of their kind in the tri-state area. TEENPOWER is a working initiative to prevent the experimentation, use, and addictions of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco by high school and middle school students in Southwestern Indiana.

Teen Advisory Council

TEEN ADVISORY COUNCIL is comprised of over 105 high school students who meet bi-monthly to work together to identify youth issues in the community. They create service projects to improve the community and empower their peers to make a difference in society.

Vanderburgh County Teen Court

VANDERBURGH COUNTY TEEN COURT is a diversion program that offers first time teen offenders the opportunity to "turn over a new leaf". Key roles are fulfilled by their peers with the exception of the judge's position, and teenagers serve as the prosecuting attorney, defense attorney, bailiff, and jury.

Make a Difference Grants

The MAKE A DIFFERENCE GRANTS program provides grants up to $750 for local youth of all ages to lead service projects that address real problems they have identified in their communities.
